Mind Traffic (Demos)

This is a compilation of demos created for a project I had originally planned to release in 2009, titled Mind Traffic. It began as a week-long stream-of-consciousness experiment during a time when I felt a deep urge to express myself through music, after plans for Transit Venus fell through. What started as a solo effort soon turned into a collaboration with Carlos Cortes, a talented DJ and producer from Portland, OR, who just got me. We worked tirelessly (and happily) on new iterations of my original demos, some of which are included in this Demos release.

While these songs never reached their final, polished form, I wanted to share them because a lot of love and work went into them.

The demos labeled "Carlos Cortes Demo" represent the versions of the songs that were closest to completion. The "First Demo" tracks are the raw, unrefined originals, before anyone else contributed to the songs. The "Hybrid Demo" tracks feature my original instrumentals paired with studio vocals.
