OVERVIEW

Bruno is an intimate, self-produced album by jazz singer and songwriter, Andrea Wright, that chronicles five deeply personal years of her life. Through minimal arrangements of piano, guitar, and vocals recorded in her New York City apartment, Andrea explores themes of pregnancy, loss, grief, and longing. Her vocal delivery is tender and haunting. The result is a body of work that feels very human and achingly beautiful.

The artwork mirrors the album’s intimacy through soft, grainy film photography and subtle light leaks. Selected by Andrea to reflect the memories behind each song, the images were colorized during the design process to enhance the natural leaks and introduce a gentle vividness that deepens their nostalgic, dreamlike quality. The cover layers a portrait of Andrea by a window with a faded photo of Miami palm trees—two moments held in quiet tension. The corresponding singles, “Bruno” and “Miami,” follow the same visual language, combining warmth, texture, and light to mirror the album’s reflective tone. The branding includes a custom wordmark and a stylized AW monogram designed to complement the project’s quiet strength and emotional clarity.
